Corinne had been involved with fitness for many years - as a personal trainer and aerobics, tennis and swimming teacher - when she came to realise that she was only reaching a small percentage of the population. She wanted to reach those who couldn’t find a suitable way to exercise and particularly to be able to include those who had specific physical problems or were recuperating and needed help with their recovery.
Amalgamating everything that she had learnt over the years, Corinne put together a programme which “combines the best elements of an aerobics class with the more gentle aspects of Pilates”. She was convinced that her new exercise regime should take place outdoors, that everyone must be able to progress at their own pace and the exercises should be tailored to suit each individual. And so, Pole-zing was born!
